Gambling law

The gambling law in Poland regulates the so-called Gambling Act of November 19, 2009. This Act, together with subsequent amendments, defines the rules of using, sharing and possessing gambling machines. Due to the great interest and dynamic development of this sector, including applications and websites with gambling, new regulations are introduced to make it difficult to circumvent the regulations and bypassing the obligation to obtain licenses in gambling games. Importantly, license applicants must meet many criteria. Breaking the regulations may result in administrative and penal-fiscal sanctions not only for suppliers and organizers of illegal games, but also for participants.
